China trek

I left for a 6 week journey with nearly no preparation. It was obvious that I was headed into a new world, and ancient new world, but there was really nothing to do but show up and see. At the heart of my photography process is to go and look. On this trip I met incredibly generous, open, funny, and intense people. I was often the clown, a tall bearded white man very much out of context. I was occasionally the guest of honor and always underdressed.
